Here a pix of that gravity and air pressure science experiment!
Whew,…marketing duties are done for a while, it’s the toughest part of being an indie-author. Writing a 130,000 word novel is a breeze, marketing said 130,000 word novel is the tough part, but I truly hope everyone who participated in the free promotion enjoys reading Becoming Portia – New Beginnings.
Affinity For Food is slated for the next release,…it’s a short story collection,…a happy mishmash of food fiction where food is either the central plot or plays a pivotal role in the central plot such as Lasagna Legacy. It’s a fun way for an author to explore different genre’s from mystery to suspense to literary and slice of life.
Maxim’s Mermaid is a young adult novel, an allegory fantasy that explores grief and surviving loss from a young boy’s perspective,…and it will hopefully be released next year.
Becoming Portia – Present Reality is the second book in the Becoming Portia series, and it too will be out,…as quickly as this indie-author can get it completed.
Of course, Becoming Portia – New Beginnings is still available on Amazon,…ebook and paperback,…both reasonably priced for a very long novel, and if you can get this I actually cut 30,000 words from the original Becoming Portia story. Ouch! It was so hard to snip those great scenes, but publishing costs are a reality an indie-author has to face, and let’s get real,…no one is going to pay $25.00+ for an unknown author’s paperback, and all that ink and paper add up. Never fear for those scenes left on the cutting room floor, I’ll find a way to recycle them,…either into their own short stories,…or even a spin-off,…as I love writing spin-offs,…and the Becoming Portia series already has three spin off novels slated for future publication.
Oh,…let’s not forget my main task,…homeschooling my little guy,…along with all the therapies needed for Apraxia and Autism. It’s the work, I love most.
If you didn’t get in on this week’s free book promotion and are interested in future promotions or book releases the best odds are to follow this blog, or to find me social media. I post regularly on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook.
No joke about marketing not being my forte. YOU are not a click or an email,…you’re a person,…and in the end how I treat people is more important than how many books I sell. By the worlds standards this is not a great marketing strategy, but I am well aware I am ultimately to be judged by a ‘different’ standard,…a holy standard,…to love one another and be kind to one another.
The best FREE deal in the world is available to all,…there is never a promotion that ends, and unlike most marketing deals there is no gimmick,…only unconditional love.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” – John 3:16-17
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God – ” Ephesians 2:8
